You‘ll make an impact by: In this role, you’ll be part of the site commissioning team for process automation projects. Following will be your responsibilities in this role:

  • Follow site activity plan in alignment with team, as per customer requirements
  • Perform tasks independently or under supervision of team lead
  • Support team members in daily testing and commissioning activities as per activity plan
  • Prepare daily report of activities at the end of the day, and further support in forward planning of activities
  • Adhere to Company’s EHS guidelines and participate in daily toolbox meetings at site
  • Attend Customer meetings as per schedule, and ensure customer satisfaction
  • Preparing and providing support for customer training – Maintenance / Operations Staff
  • Update documents and drawings as per site as-built conditions
Your success is grounded in:
  • Bachelor of Engineering in Electrical / Electronics / Telecommunications or equivalent
  • Early experience (3 - 4 years of experience) in hands-on commissioning of projects related to Instrumentation, Control and Automation Systems, DCS, SCADA in Water & Waste Water, Oil & Gas, Petrochemicals
  • Knowledge of Industrial Automation, Electrical / Electronic equipment, Software programming and Safety regulations is mandatory. Prior knowledge of Siemens Automation System is preferred
  • Personal Skills: Punctual, Good communication skills, Proactive approach, Critical thinking, and Problem-solving attitude in a multi-cultural environment
  • Certificate in Automation, Networking or Cybersecurity implementation will be an added advantage to your profile
  • Have knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio etc.)
  • Language skills: Native Arabic speaker with sufficient know-how of English (for business communications) is a must
  • Willing to learn and work as per site commissioning schedule
  • Flexible to travel as per job requirement – 60% of time
