Job details

Responsibilities:Wind stators, rotors, and armatures of various types and sizes of motors according to specifications.Select appropriate wire size, insulation, and winding techniques based on motor requirements.Ensure proper tension and alignment of windings to prevent motor failures and ensure optimal performance.Diagnose and troubleshoot motor issues to determine necessary repairs.Replace defective parts such as bearings, brushes, and seals.Test repaired motors to ensure they meet operational standards and specifications.Quality Assurance:Inspect completed windings and repairs for quality and accuracy.Ensure compliance with company and industry standards, regulations, and safety protocols.Document work performed, including specifications, parts used, and test results.Equipment Maintenance:Maintain and calibrate winding and testing equipment to ensure accuracy and reliability.Report any equipment malfunctions or maintenance needs to supervisors.Collaborate with other departments, such as engineering and maintenance, to coordinate motor winding and repair projects.Provide guidance and training to junior winders and apprentices as needed.Minimum Requirements:High school diploma or equivalent; technical or vocational training in electrical or mechanical fields preferred.Proven experience as a Motors Winder or similar role.Strong knowledge of motor winding techniques, tools, and equipment.Familiarity with electrical and mechanical principles.Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and specifications.Detail-oriented with excellent manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination.Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.Ability to work independently and as part of a team.Commitment to safety and quality standards.
