Whatever it is, the way you tell your story online can make all the difference. Our client, PocketPills is a tech-driven pharmacy that is redefining pharmacy experience for consumers in Canada. Consumers can place an order on the App from the convenience of their home. Our innovative, online pharmacy platform along with a workflow-driven backbone is aimed at significantly reducing cost, improving medication adherence and providing easy access to pharmacists. With direct access to patients' medication history and using other healthcare information, we will predict medication adherence, medication efficacy, disease progression and incidence of new diseases by leveraging machine learning. Our addressable market is the retail pharmacy industry in Canada (~$25B annual revenues). We are a well-established, well-funded start-up with a strong engineering team. It's a great opportunity for you to build core components, contribute in a big way, and learn a lot in the process. Our platform is hosted on AWS, uses Angular for web, Flutter for Mobile Apps, Play/Spring framework on Java, and MySQL for back-end in addition to a variety of cloud services from Amazon as well as Google. Job Location: Surrey (Temporary WFH option is available) Qualifications B.Tech/ BE Computer Science from a good engineering institute. 2 to 5 years of relevant experience. Good knowledge of object-oriented design, data structures, algorithms, and SQL. Deep understanding of writing modular, well documented, testable, maintainable code. Motivated to take ownership of projects and drive them to completion. Ability to work in a fast-paced and agile development environment. Genuinely excited about working in a growth-stage startup, learning and solving problems without getting constrained by current knowledge or experience. Good to Have Experience programming in Java and with Play/Spring framework. Experience building operationally critical services, especially in eCommerce.
