Your new company Hays is collaborating with an Australian company that specialises in providing comprehensive Telecommunications and Broadcasting solutions in remote and challenging regions across Australia. This permanent, full-time role is based in Hobart and the organisation has offices in Tasmania, Victoria, and South Australia. Your new role The Human Resources Lead reports directly to the Managing Director. They collaborate with managers and employees across the business to provide human resources generalist functions as well as operational and strategic human resources advice. The Human Resources Lead is instrumental in providing advice and support to drive business performance initiatives, including employee engagement, retention, capability, culture, development, policy and practice. The Human Resources Lead is tasked with developing and implementing an HR strategy that aligns with the organisation's vision, mission, and goals. This role fosters a positive and collaborative work culture, promoting continuous learning and development. Leading and managing the Human Resources function, the position works closely with the Managing Director to set and communicate HR objectives, delegate tasks and projects, and provide mentoring. Additionally, this role involves managing workers' compensation and rehabilitation, overseeing employee benefit programs, training, recruitment, learning and development, recognition and reward, and maintaining Human Resources systems. It ensures compliance with relevant legislation, statutory obligations, and accurately reporting on Human Resources data. What you'll need to succeed You will be a true Human Resources generalist while being collaborative, courageous, agile and disciplined about delivering outcomes. Finally, you should be adaptable, flexible, and resilient to effectively manage work pressures, competing priorities and ambiguity in an environment subject to change with the ability to work individually and as part of a team. Essential Requirements

- Tertiary Qualification in Human Resources and proven work experience within Human Resources previously
- Current driving licence and the ability to travel intrastate and interstate to the other offices based in Victoria and South Australia
- Experience with Employment Hero would be highly beneficial
