We are seeking a creative and dynamic Junior Designer to join our exhibition team, where they will have the opportunity to contribute to the conceptualisation and realisation of innovative exhibition designs. The ideal candidate will possess a foundational knowledge of design principles and a keen eye for aesthetic detail. Responsibilities include assisting in the creation of engaging exhibition layouts, participating in brainstorming sessions, producing detailed design drafts, and collaborating with the senior design team to refine concepts and deliver final designs. The role demands a proactive approach to learning new skills and technologies relevant to exhibition design, as well as the ability to work effectively under tight deadlines. Excellent communication skills are essential, as the Junior Designer will interact with various stakeholders, including clients, vendors, and team members, to ensure the successful delivery of exhibition projects. Objectives of the Role:
- Assist in the creation of engaging exhibition layouts.
- Participate in brainstorming sessions.
- Produce detailed design drafts.
- Collaborate with the senior design team to refine concepts and deliver final designs.
- Manage operational budgets and ensure that operational activities remain on time and within budget.
- Develop, implement, and maintain quality assurance protocols.
- Increase the efficiency of existing processes and procedures to enhance the company’s internal capacity.
- Comply with all WHS policies.
- Manage project teams.
- Track staffing requirements, hiring new employees as needed.
- A degree in design or a related field is preferred.
- Proficiency in design software such as AutoCAD, SolidWorks, 3ds max, and SketchUp.
