From their headquarters in Dublin, they develop and distribute a range of specialist products across Ireland. Led by an entrepreneurial management team, who’s ongoing investment in leading edge digital technology, combined with constant drive for best practice, has positioned the business as the biggest supplier in their Industry sector. They have a vacancy for a Head of Finance who will oversee their Finance function and who will proactively support the management team to achieve their strategic and business objectives. Head of Finance Reporting the Chief Executive officer the role will involve the following:
- Strategic Financial Planning: implement, and continuously review the strategic financial plan.
- Provide advice and support other departments to achieve strategic planning objectives.
- Manage all aspects of finance operations, including the annual budget, strategic financial planning and forecast updates.
- Lead the integration of data analytics into financial planning processes. Use analytics to support key decision-making and improve forecasting.
- Responsible for monthly financial reporting
- Ongoing interaction with the leadership team to provide analytical support and analysis of business results.
- Continuously monitor and review financial processes to ensure compliance with legislation and best practices.
- Business Opportunity Analysis : provide financial analysis on potential business opportunities.
- Ongoing review and improvement of Internal Financial Controls
- Oversee risk management processes, including credit, cash, and insurance risks.
- Management and development of the finance team
- Managing Cashflow, Banking and treasury
- Ensure organisation is compliant with Taxation and Statutory obligations
- Manage Year-end Audit and interaction with auditors
