- Provide technical support to the frontline sales force, including troubleshooting, new product implementation, process optimization, trial leadership, etc.
- Identify and clearly define customer needs, lead internal collaboration to deliver the best solution.
- Select appropriate products from the portfolio in accordance with business needs and product line strategy.
- Propose products/modifications from the portfolio in accordance with business needs, product line strategy, and specific customer needs.
- Liaison and develop relationship with key strategic OEMs and work on global strategic OEM engagement plan.
- Collaborate with Commercial, Operations and R&D to determine and establish feasibility and total product cost as input for the final offer.
- Develop and deliver presentations to customer and general market on technical/product related subjects including case studies, white papers, in collaboration with Commercial team.
- Understand the competitive landscape and provide input where applicable.
- Utilize the CRM system to manage responsibilities, collaborate, and capture important historical data for sales projects.
- Develop marketing materials, sales tools and case studies.
- Ownership of individual development plan (IDP) as agreed upon with direct line manager.
- Implement and drive and internal value based selling approach through the customer engagement and account management process.
- Must be mechanical / chemical engineering background with an understanding of steel, Aluminium and mining industries.
- Familiar with Industrial Lubricants & Greases products, have around 10-15 years working experience.
