About the job Corporate Laundry ManagerROLE PURPOSEThe Corporate Laundry Manager plays a pivotal role in maintaining the impeccable standards of cleanliness and presentation. This position is responsible for overseeing the laundry operation across multiple private properties in Saudi Arabia. This position demands an individual with impeccable attention to detail, exceptional organizational skills, and deep understanding of the luxury hospitality industry. The ideal candidate must have a proven track record of managing laundry operation for elite clients. Frequent travel between Jeddah & Riyadh is required to oversee and support laundry teams, guaranteeing a seamless and consistent level of service across all locations.KEY ACCOUNTABILITIESOperational ExcellenceLead and manage laundry operations at multiple high-end properties, ensuring services align with the luxury brands standards.Develop and implement standards operating procedure to ensure consistency and efficiency in laundry services.Ensure prompt and flawless handling of laundry service.Quality AssuranceConduct rigorous inspection of laundry processes and outputs to maintain superior quality.Address and resolve any issues related to laundry quality and service promptly.Implement quality control check points throughout the laundry processes to highlight and correct issues.Leadership and TrainingProvide strong leadership and mentorship to laundry team at each property.Foster a positive, high performance work environment that encourages teamwork and continuous improvement.Supervision / co-ordination of all the laundry staff by ensuring that all services offered by the laundry department are available and carried out with the utmost efficiency.Identify training needs and plan training programs for the teams and ensure that all are multi-skilled and have the necessary skills to perform their duties with maximum efficiency.Maintenance and SafetyEnsure that all laundry equipment is maintained in good working condition and arrange repairs as needed.Implement and enforce safety procedure.Maintain compliance with health and safety regulations related to laundry operations.Understand and strictly adhere to Saudi Rules & Regulations.Maintain detailed records of equipment performance and maintenance activities.TravelTravel frequently between Riyadh and Jeddah to oversee operation at various properties, provide support and ensure service consistency.Conduct on-site audits and assessments to ensure compliance with brand standard.Act as the primary point of contact for laundry operations at each property.Build strong relationship with the team to facilitate effective communication and collaboration.BACKGROUND, SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONSBachelor's degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or a related field.Advanced degree (MBA) is preferred.Minimum of 10 years of progressive experience in the hospitality industry, with at least 5 years in senior leadership roles overseeing operational functions.Proven track record of excellence in managing multiple high-end properties.Exhibits excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Exceptional leadership, organizational, and time management skills.Strong problem-solving skills and a keen eye for details.Proficient in developing and implementing operational standards, processes, and procedures, with strong negotiation skills.
