We are partnering with a professional services firm who are seeking an In-House Legal Counsel to join the team on a permanent contract. In this role you will be responsible for managing and executing a wide range of business critical legal and compliance related activities. Key Responsibilities will include: Oversee the Data Protection Governance Framework and implement and monitor data protection policies and procedures Deliver training to the wider firm on relevant employee law topics Manage on a number of risk and compliance duties such as drafting and reviewing NDAs, manage AML and the Risk Register Review and draft property contracts, licenses, and related legal documents Lead the legal review process for merger/acquisition transactions, providing strategic insight and oversight on legal risks, structures, and documentation RequirementsKey Requirements will include: At least 5 years' experience in a similar/relevant role with a legal qualification Ideally hold a Solicitor qualification with exposure and interest in HR Strong stakeholder management experience and communication ability Ability to develop solutions for key legal/compliance related issues across the firm Comfortable working under pressure and meeting key deadlines BenefitsStrong benefits and hybrid flexbility on offer.
