You'll be solving supply chain problems that span the whole world: a smoke-free world.Your 'day to day'SUSTAINABILITYEnsure compliance to all PMI and legal standards, policies and guidelines related to Environment, Health, Safety, Sustainability to prevent personnel, asset, or societal loss.Act and promote an interdependent and transparent safety culture fostering the utilization of preventive/predictive approach in line with Open+/IOS.QUALITYDocumentation Management:Review/approve documents raised to her/his level.Continuous Improvement:Provide timely feedback and recommendations for corrective actions in order to ensure performance objectives achievement, support continuous improvement and best practices implementation. Propose, define and implement quality improvement programs to ensure the products and the processes meet the Quality requirements along manufacturing line.QMS Support:Participate to the creation/review of procedures, work instructions and others Quality Documents that are required. Provide the related support and training according to the training management system.Project / Innovation:Lead and/or support initiatives and cross-functional projects related to the Quality of products and systems (local and global projects). Provide guidance and mentoring to other Quality department team members/Manufacturing sites. Provide a follow up and reporting of projects and milestones.For tobacco products, ensure a disposal/review/approbation of Grade/lot Control and other production/Quality documents in a timely manner. Act as backup for the Quality review of grade/lot records and grade/lot control release by reviewing the Compliance, the accuracy and integrity of data. Ensure timely calibration and maintenance of at line Quality instruments and proper functionality.DELIVERYProduction Support:Ensure a full Quality technical support is provided to the floor during production. Ensure that quality practices/requirements are shared and deployed on the floor by transferring the knowledge and training stakeholders on new processes, requirements, methods, or guidelines. Provide first level support to Manufacturing related to material issues (Troubleshooting) until mitigation and communicate/escalate to related parties accordingly. Ensure a robust process is in place to manage sample testing between the Floor and Lab entities.Grade/Lot Record Documentation:Support the manufacturing team in the establishment and revision of the grade/lot documentation, providing guidance on data and record management. Ensure manufacturing grade/lot Record and Grade/lot release documentation is accurate, complete, reviewed and archived in line with PMI guideline and QMS requirements to ensure confirmation that the product can be released for commercial manufacturing.COSTNon-Conformities Management:Provide a full support to the production in case of non-conformities and negative trends. Provide guide and coordinate Quality team members during investigations, risk assessment and root causes analysis. Ensure that non-conformities are investigated in a timely manner and products/materials blocked when required. Participate to corrective action identification and implementation. Approve/reject all non-conformities and action plan raised to her/his level.MORALEManage and develop a motivated and skilled team to ensure performance levels, professional development and achievement of objectives, in respect of PMI leadership model. Create an environment in which each member of the team is motivated to express own talent and potential. Develop and drive the execution of a Qualification matrix and training path for each role.OTHERSAct as Pillar Member of the assigned pillarContribute to the full year pillar plan definition and implementation aligned with OPEN+ Phase journey.Participate and contribute to pillar reviews definition and implementation as per defined frequency.Responsible for implementation of Standard work process defined in Pillars.Ensure self-capabilities based on step-up cards.Who we're looking forBachelor's or Master's degree in Biological sciences, Physical sciences, Engineering or relevant skills through demonstrated experience.2-5 years in the quality or equivalent experience.Fluent in Urdu and English.Knowledge of manufacturing process and applicable QMS.Knowledge of International standards (ISO).Well-developed IT skills (Office).Advanced knowledge on Quality tools, root cause analysis, analytical skills.What we offerOur success depends on our talented employees who come to work here every single day with a sense of purpose and an appetite for progress.
