Interaction Designer

One of our clients are seeking an SC Cleared Interaction Designer to join their dynamic team on a contractual basis. Location : Hybrid - 3 days onsite in London, 2 days remote Contract : 3-month initial contract with potential for a 12-month+ extension based on performance Start Date : 15th November Travel : Occasional travel to Wolverhampton (frequency to be confirmed) Clearance : SC Clearance required. Candidates should have worked on an SC-cleared project within the last 12 months for clearance transfer eligibility Responsibilities:
- Understand user needs and track interactions across departmental and organisational boundaries
- Requirement gathering and interview with stakeholders
- Low-fi/hi fi Wireframes creation using GDS pattern library
- Presenting work in GDS assessments
- Industry or government experience in designing user-centred, accessible, responsive user interfaces
- Be confident in designing at low and high fidelity, for different screen sizes
- Have a range of experience of prototyping interactions
- An ability to talk about, and advocate for, user-centered design in a way that other people understand
- Understands the importance of working with research and business analysis to inform design decisions
- Have an ability to work autonomously
- Have experience of working collaboratively in a dynamic environment
- Have experience in removing complexity from services and solving problems
- Can identify and understand constraints and can communicate these and work within them.
- Be able to manage stakeholder expectations and facilitate difficult discussions with a wide range of stakeholders
- Have experience of coding interactive prototypes using HTML, CSS and JavaScript
- Knowledge of Heroku, Sketch and Figma
