The team takes responsibility for a wind farm once a contract has been signed and remains responsible until the final tests are completed. Working closely with the logistics, procurement and finance departments, the team must keep the project on budget and on schedule and ensures our current safety and quality standards are met.ResponsibilitiesOversee all construction activities to monitor compliance with safety and quality regulationsCoordinate and direct construction workers and subcontractorsMeet contractual conditions of performance by reviewing the work progress daily.Plan to prevent problems and resolve any emerging challengesAnalyse, control, and mitigate risksEnsure quality construction standards and the use of proper construction techniquesReview the project in-depth to schedule deliverables and estimate costsQualificationsFormal qualification in the field of Civil, Electrical or Mechanical Engineering from an accredited institutionProven working experience in the construction industryAdvanced knowledge of construction management processes, means and methodsUnderstanding of all facets of the construction processKnowledge in process safety standards and local legislationFluent in the English language, both spoken and writtenYou are a motivated and results-orientated policy maker who puts a significant emphasis on safetyYou have strong analytical skills while also being able to balance responsibilities and prioritize workloadsPower to influence, both independently and as a team memberCompetent in conflict and crisis management, while also being able to stay professional in a time-sensitive situationLeadership and human resource management skillsGood time and project management skillsWhat we offerWe offer an exciting job with excellent opportunities for professional and personal development in an inspiring environment at a global wind turbine producer.
