Our client is one of the leading players in the OSS / Network Automation software and services space and has a global headcount of around 30,000 people.The Sales Director (Networks) will pursue new businesses and grow existing businesses by developing and implementing sales strategies aimed at Network Division growth (OSS, 5G Core, Charging, Policy Network Services).This sole contributor role involves new business hunting and cross-selling to Tier 2 operators, such as Comcast, Charter Communications, CenturyLink, and Altice, along with other telecommunications service providers in Canada.What would your day-to-day look like:You will be a high-impact contributor responsible for building long-term partnerships with existing and new customers. You will:Extend and develop positive relationships with key purchasing decision-makers, executive sponsors, coaches, and influencers to extend the reach of our client.Build out network growth and evolution plans with accountability for winning customer-valued network offerings.Act as a Problem Solver: be creative, innovative, and think outside the box. Teach the customer something new and relevant to them. Help the customer to think differently and consider new or creative ways of solving problems.Serve as the customer champion by constantly looking for improvement areas and ways to delight and retain customers through satisfaction.Demonstrate value by understanding the desired customer outcome and what this is worth to the customer.All you need is…10+ years of sales experience in Network solutions to CSPs (Network Software - PCRF, DPI, OSS, Service Assurance, Orchestration, Inventory, 5G slicing, etc.)Deep, demonstrable relationships at Tier 2 operators.Proven track record in closing large and complex deals through the development and execution of sales strategies across different markets.Demonstrated knowledge and experience in the Telecommunications and networking industry (BSS, OSS, 4G / 5G, Virtualisation / Cloud Services and Evolution).Excellent interpersonal communication, collaboration, and team-building skills.Fluent in English (verbal and written); proficiency in languages relevant to the accounts/region is preferable.Executive-level communication and presenting skills.Please ignore salary levels mentioned on the job board - there is flexibility.
