Truck Driver

(UAE Valid Driving License)

Responsibilities

1. Drive the company vehicle while ensuring that all equipment is well arranged in the truck.
2. Ensure that the truck is always in top-class condition and manage the wear and tear of the vehicle.
3. Assist in the warehouse under the supervision of the coordinator.
4. Help during the loading and offloading of goods from the truck.
5. Assist the Warehouse Coordinators with the preparation of orders for dispatch and receiving.
6. Drive and operate vehicles in a safe manner for deliveries and collections.
7. Deliver orders to venue sites from the warehouse and collect orders from venue sites back to the warehouse.
8. Collect orders against delivery notes provided and physically verify receipt.
9. Plan and follow the most efficient road routes for transport.
10. Abide by all transportation laws and maintain a safe driving record.
11. Conduct daily vehicle checks and maintain a logbook for service, oil changes, etc.
12. Assist the warehouse & logistics team with daily tasks in loading and offloading equipment and arranging the warehouse.

Skills

1. Valid UAE Manual/Heavy Vehicle Driver’s License.
2. Minimum of 2-5 years experience as a driver in the UAE.
3. Well-versed in all routes and roads around the UAE.
4. Ability to work methodically and meet deadlines; strong time-management skills.
5. Excellent communication skills; fluency in Urdu and English, both written and verbal.
