We’ve got what you’re looking for. Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented Highway Operations Specialist to join our team. What You'll Be Doing:

  1. Operational Analysis: Monitor and analyze highway conditions to ensure safe and efficient traffic flow.
  2. Coordination with Maintenance Teams: Work closely with road maintenance teams to coordinate repairs, closures, and other operational adjustments.
  3. Traffic Control Device Management: Manage highway signage, lane markings, and other control devices to enhance roadway safety.
  4. Incident Reporting and Response: Report incidents to the TMC and coordinate with emergency services as needed.
  5. Performance Review: Assess the effectiveness of highway operations and make recommendations for improvements.
What Required Skills You'll Bring:
  1. Strong knowledge of highway operations and traffic control devices.
  2. Familiarity with state and federal highway regulations.
  3. Ability to work collaboratively with multiple teams, including emergency responders and maintenance crews.
What Desired Skills You'll Bring:
  1. Bachelor’s degree in Transportation, Highway Engineering, or a related field.
  2. Minimum 15+ years of experience in highway operations or a related role.
