We take a holistic approach to property requirements and opportunities enabling our clients to manage the day-to-day operational requirements of facilities and maintain a strategic overview for the future.We are now recruiting for a new business role leading national sales growth in growing our property business. You will drive and support the implementation of the strategy to grow our Education Property Business outside of our current footprint of Staffordshire.You will be responsible for identifying and responding to new opportunities, nurturing these opportunities into deliverable commissions, as well as utilising your sector knowledge to generate significant opportunities through your own networks and activities to achieve sales growth in line with the set targets.Job title:Market Development Manager - Property DesignJob Description:What you'll be doing :A primary focus on developing multi-disciplinary property opportunities initially in the RIBA work stages 0-4.Having a 'hand on' approach to nurturing clients' aspirations and developing opportunities to enable the client to commission the delivery team, drawing your architectural expertise.You will need to target/work with educators (schools, FE & HE), local government, blue light and housing developers to create/develop/identify opportunities.You will need to self-generate its own leads and open opportunity across the target sectors.Provide initial master planning design input to a wide range of clients to nurture opportunities.Creating sales forecasts with a demonstrable plan to achieve them, through activities such as:Identifying new business opportunities, including new markets, new clients, and new partnerships.Creating strategies to successfully reach new business opportunities.Building relationships with new clients, gauging their needs and developing proposals to address these needs.Developing relationships with current clients to leverage new business opportunities.Pitching concepts and products to new and existing clients.Attending conferences and events to build relationships with industry partners and staying up to date with new trends.Collaborating with design teams to ensure that the requirements are met.What we're looking for :A significant property, multi-disciplinary design background, likely to be 10 years+ post RIBA/ARB qualification as an architect; may consider other property-related backgrounds such as designer/technologist but dependent on extent of multi-disciplinary experience.Experience in masterplanning, presenting ideas and concepts to a wide range of stakeholders.Experience of working in business development within a property setting.Working within our key market of education is highly desirable.Experience within a sales, account management, and marketing context.Credibility with senior decision-makers and a robust existing 'black book' from which to build a pipeline.Commercially astute and financially aware.As it is a national role, the candidate should expect significant travel and overnight stays.About EntrustEntrust is a joint venture company between Capita and Staffordshire County Council and has supported educational establishments across England to improve outcomes since 2013.
