As a Site Traffic Management Supervisor (three positions), you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the safe and efficient management of traffic. Rostered weekend work and the public holidays. You will be paid $29.66 -$31 per hour depending on experience. You will work a minimum of 30 hours and a maximum of 50 hours a week. The job will be based in Rolleston, Canterbury region. Job Description Duties:Â

  • Plan and organise traffic management systems, gather resources and implement regulatory requirements.
  • Manage Traffic management staff.
  • Provide briefing and assistance to staff with traffic management setups and queries.
  • Continued control and maintenance of TM sites under your control to ensure sites remain both compliant and safe.
  • Care and attention for the safety of staff, motorists, and others in and around traffic management sites to keep all involved safe.
  • Accurate reporting of any incidents occurring on any TM sites under your supervision to ensure cause and prevention are both identified.
  • Assisting crews on site as and when required to ensure efficiency
  • Attend call-out work as required/rostered
 Skills & Experience :
  • Current STMS CAT A/B certificate.
  • Supervisory experience of at least two years.Â
  • Ability to prioritise tasks effectively and work under pressure.
  • Strong organisation, planning and problem-solving skills.
  • TTM Mentor (desirable but not compulsory)
  • A safety-first attitude – for yourself, your team and the public
  • Â Â Â Â A high level of physical fitness due to the physical nature of the role
  • Availability to work nights, days and weekends
  • People who can work individually and in teams
  • Safety focused people with good communication skills
