Responsibilities:
- Preparation of Project Budget and materials quantities required
- Able to review specification and drawing to determine the scope of work, costing etc.
- Accountable for pre and post contract management, monitoring materials and construction cost, site valuation, variation order and final accounts.
- Assist in operation matters on contractual issues and any other contracts administration duties related to QS.
- Acquire quotation from contractor and suppliers for purpose of cost assessment, analysis or budgeting.
- Collaborate with client, consultant, suppliers and sub-contractors.
- Prepare monthly progress claim, subcontractor's payment certification. Verify variation orders and ensure final account settlement based on agreed quotations are carried out.
- Attend site valuation, site measurement and regular meetings when necessary.
- Prepare/verify payment certificates and finalize final account of projects.
Requirement:
- Diploma/Bachelor’s degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or a related field.
- Proven experience in quantity surveying with strong knowledge of cost estimation and contract management.
- Proficiency in quantity surveying software and Microsoft Office.
- Excellent analytical, communication, and negotiation skills.
- At least 2 years of relevant working experience will be an added advantage.
