Quantitative Surveyor (Contract Basis)

Responsibilities:

1. Preparation of Project Budget and materials quantities required
2. Able to review specification and drawing to determine the scope of work, costing etc.
3. Accountable for pre and post contract management, monitoring materials and construction cost, site valuation, variation order and final accounts.
4. Assist in operation matters on contractual issues and any other contracts administration duties related to QS.
5. Acquire quotation from contractor and suppliers for purpose of cost assessment, analysis or budgeting.
6. Collaborate with client, consultant, suppliers and sub-contractors.
7. Prepare monthly progress claim, subcontractor's payment certification. Verify variation orders and ensure final account settlement based on agreed quotations are carried out.
8. Attend site valuation, site measurement and regular meetings when necessary.
9. Prepare/verify payment certificates and finalize final account of projects.

Requirement:

1. Diploma/Bachelor’s degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or a related field.
2. Proven experience in quantity surveying with strong knowledge of cost estimation and contract management.
3. Proficiency in quantity surveying software and Microsoft Office.
4. Excellent analytical, communication, and negotiation skills.
5. At least 2 years of relevant working experience will be an added advantage.
