Job Family Information Technology Contract Type Direct Location Business Line Information Technology Department Not Applicable Closing Date 30-Sep-2024 Job Purpose Assist in the development and implementation of Aveva applications and procedures, engineering design, in-house & capital projects within recognized fields of Information Technology. He/she has a role to analyze the Aveva system in the running environment and reports the status to solve any problem and system fault .Key Accountabilities • AVEVA Application Configuration for AVEVA Basic, P& ID, E3D, Marine, Draw, ISO, APBN and etc. • AVEVA Application Customization: Catalogue, Reporting Script, Drawing Libraries, Menu and GUI • User Training: Basic course, General modeling, and drawing environment. • Back up & Restore: Project data backup, database merging, database stamping, database restore. • Gateway developing: AVEVA .NET gateway developing and maintaining. • Version Upgrading: Database & System upgrade with new version. • License Management: license generation, deployment, and setup. • Data Extraction and Hand Over: data extraction, conversion, and handover. • Communicates most closely with the end-users to take immediate action for any trouble shooting and advise and support the end-users so that they can use the system correctly and most efficiently. • Systems analysts are also involved in version testing, upgrading and application customization. Qualifications & Experience Education Bachelor's degree in computer science, management information technology (MIS) or equivalent. Professional Qualifications Technical certifications in the field of application integration and/or implementation. Aveva certifications in the development track will be an added advantage PMP or similar certifications in the project track will be an added advantage Experience At least 3-6 years of relevant experience in Aveva engineering solutions. Related experience in Shipbuilding, Offshore, and Plant business. Related experience in Aveva Project (Admin or Support) Experience in working with Aveva Engineering and ERP system. Experience working with APIs from software applications such as ERP, engineering, and operation technology systems. Expertise in solution design & development, enterprise application support, and project management. Languages Thoroughly proficient in both verbal and written English. Competencies (Knowledge, Skills & Abilities) • Knowledge of database systems, e.g., MS SQL, and Oracle. • Knowledge of engineering and infrastructure systems e.g., Aveva, Email, Web Server. • Familiar with application development tools, e.g., .Net, and Java. • Knowledge of frameworks and standards associated with IT like ISO 12207, ISO 27001, ISO 20000, CMMI. • Proficient with analysis, design, and development of IT applications used at IMI. • Proficient in maintaining precise control over configuration Items, including applications, documentation, source code, and RDBMS. • Knowledge of enterprise architecture, integration architecture, frameworks, and best practices. • Knowledge and working experience in system analysis across multiple platforms, business process automation and tools. • Capable and experienced in providing technical solutions and helping consultants to finalize customer requirements. • Working experience and knowledge in several programming languages. • Ability to work under initiative and tight time pressures - planning, prioritizing, and controlling workload.
