It can potentially translate into the following earning range:1st year - $45,000 to $65,0002nd year - $75,000 to $90,0003rd year - $85,000 to $125,000+Responsibilities:Deliver exceptional sales experience from the first point of contactGenerate leads through an individual network of Centres of Influence and marketing strategiesActively pursue warm leads and referrals by following-up and implementing sales tactics to ensure closure of saleManage leads and provide quotes to prospective clients in a timely mannerCorrectly assess risk and advise clients of insurance coverages tailored to clients’ needsIdentify cross-sell opportunities to assist clients with all their insurance needsPrioritize building a quality book of business and maintain good retention ratiosAdhere to underwriting criteria set out by broker partnersAttend Commercial Lines training courses as requiredQualifications:General Insurance Level 1 license from the Alberta Insurance Council (AIC)2+ years of experience in a sales roleKnowledge of Commercial Lines Insurance on a proficient level is considered an assetExperience with insurance software (broker portals, customer management systems, etc) is considered an assetFluency in a foreign language is an assetPersonal Lines experienceRequired education:High-school diploma or equivalentJob Types: Full-time, CommissionAdditional pay:Commission PayBenefits:Casual DressFlexible ScheduleOn-site ParkingSchedule:Monday to Friday, regular office hoursExperience:Sales: 2 years (Preferred)#BIGEdmontonSouth
