Our Client   in Papatoetoe, Auckland  is looking for full-time Chefs Minimum 30 Hours and Maximum 40 Hours Guaranteed. NZ $ 29.00 to NZ $ 30.00 Per Hour. Multiple positions available
- Prepare and cook meals in accordance with our recipes.
- Design and develop creative and seasonal menus that reflect the restaurantâs concept and target market. Continuously innovate to keep the menu fresh and exciting.
- Manage and train kitchen staff, including line cooks and kitchen assistants. Foster a positive and productive team environment.
- Prepare and cook high-quality dishes in accordance with established recipes and standards. Ensure all dishes are presented beautifully and meet taste and quality expectations.
- discussing food preparation issues with Managers, Dietitians and kitchen and waiting staff.
- Maintain a clean and tidy workspace.
- You will be responsible for preparing, cooking, and serving quality menu items for the hospital staff.
- You will be establishing and maintaining quality control, and assisting with ordering and menu development.
- In addition, you will be assisting with general kitchen and cleaning duties.
- Some ordering and basic kitchen management.
- Has the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Full-time role min 30 hours per week includes evenings late nights public holidays days and weekends.
- Minimum 3+ years experienceÂ
- You must have at least 3 years of relevant experience Strong delegation and customer service skills
- The highest standards of food and occupational safety and hygiene
- Will be hardworking, reliable, and have a friendly and positive attitude.
- Will have experience working as a chef in a commercial kitchen.
- Will have superior customer service skills but most importantly will demonstrate a passion for great food, customer service, and quality.
- Will have knowledge of temperature procedures and can work to timeframes.
