Job details
Location: ZA, GP, Johannesburg, Baker Street 30 To apply computer science theories and principles to create and refactor moderate to complex programs/scripts and integration software services. To design complex specifications, code, test, debug, enhance programs within the Continuous Delivery pipelines, and provide support and maintenance of systems and programs. Execute software developer responsibilities according to engineering practices, standards, frameworks, roadmaps, and the architect's application standards. Participate in reviews of colleagues' work.
Qualifications
- First Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or Bachelor of Commerce, as well as Microsoft DP-900 and/or DP-203 certification.
- Must know data warehousing and data modeling concepts.
- At least 5 years' hands-on Data Analysis and ETL experience using Microsoft data tools such as SSIS, Azure Data Factory, Azure Synapse Analytics Studio, and/or MS Data Fabrics.
- Knowledge of dashboard development using PowerBI or Qliksense.
- Knowledge of Data Analysis or Data Engineering in the Financial Services sector.
