Who We Are Recruiting for the Position We are seeking a talented and experienced WordPress Designer who can contribute to our mission by building and maintaining a professional online presence. If you have a passion for WordPress design, at least 3+ years of experience, and can multitask efficiently, this could be the perfect role for you. As part of our volunteer-based team, you will help design, develop, and enhance our website to align with our brand and facilitate our services, including job board listings and career resources. Responsibilities:

• Design and develop WordPress websites, integrating key functionalities such as payment systems and live chat plugins.
• Customize themes and plugins to align with our organization's branding and goals.
• Collaborate closely with the team to update website content and ensure brand consistency.
• Optimize website performance, including SEO, speed, and mobile responsiveness.
• Implement security measures to protect the website and user data.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues or bugs that may arise.
• Efficiently manage multiple aspects of website development and maintenance.

Requirements:

• Experience: 3+ years of proven experience in WordPress design and development with a strong portfolio showcasing your work (Note: Applications without a portfolio will not be considered).
• Skills: Proficiency in WordPress, including experience with setting up payment systems, live chat plugins, and theme customization. Basic knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript for website customization.
• Optimization: Strong understanding of website optimization, SEO best practices, and security protocols.
• Technical Needs: Fast internet connection, stable electricity, and a reliable computer are essential.

• This may include a short task or more detailed questions to evaluate your skills and suitability.
• A 15-minute video call to discuss your experience and fit for the role.
• A 30-minute video call, potentially including a case study to showcase your expertise.
• Successful candidates will undergo a comprehensive onboarding process, including signing an NDA and orientation to the role.
