About the job Faculty Coordinator

City University Ajman is seeking a motivated and organized Faculty Coordinator to join our team. Responsibilities:
Provide academic and administrative support services to ensure efficiency and effectiveness within the assigned faculty departments and the Office of the Vice Chancellor.
Direct walk-in visitors to the appropriate academic and administrative offices.
Maintain the general filing system and file all important correspondence.
Compile and maintain records.
Read and screen incoming correspondence and reports; make preliminary assessments of the importance of materials and organize documents; handle some matters personally and forward appropriate materials to the Department Head.
Respond to inquiries, receive and screen incoming calls and visitors, and alert the concerned department personnel accordingly.
Compose letters and memoranda upon the instruction of the Department Head.
Take minutes of meetings.
Coordinate office management activities for the staff and department chair.
Make referrals to appropriate staff or provide requested information.
Act as a liaison between College Faculty and Administration departments.
Maintain adequate CUA stationery.
Attend meetings when necessary; perform other related duties when required.
Perform other duties as required.
Must-have skills:
Fluency in English and Arabic.
Exceptional personality.
Strong organizational skills.
Excellent interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
Proficiency in relevant software applications and social media platforms.

	<li>Candidates should have Bachelor&#39;s degree or equivalent in engineering with at least 10 years&#39; experience in the offshore oil & gas project with minimum 5 years&#39; experience as T&I Snr Engineer for international oil companies project particularly in Middle East.</li>
	<li>Experience of subsea installation of Umbilical, Flowlines, Risers in shallow water will be a plus.</li>
	<li>Experience of similar project during construction phase at yard will be a plus.</li>

	<li>Prepare and develop installation procedures, method statement, technical query as per client&#39;s requirement</li>
	<li>Plan mobilization, organize and manage the teams required to carry out the work and define authority and responsibilities for each member of Package team.</li>
	<li>Establish and manage a team during T&I activities execution which is highly motivated, skilled and works diligently to meet the Package requirements.</li>
	<li>Establish lean management system in the T&I organization through training, deployment of lean tools and delivery of results.</li>

	<li>Assist Project Management to compile dossier and make presentation to obtain all necessary approvals for Project contract awards.</li>
	<li>Ensure timely finalization of T&I contractual documents and contract awards for EPC.</li>
	<li>Manage Detail Engineering and T&I Works progress including follow-up of engineering and vendor documentation reviews to ensure compliance with design dossier, Company specifications. Corporate standard and HSE regulation, international codes and classification society rules.</li>
	<li>Promote value engineering with FEED Engineer in the facility design with objective to reduce Project capital expenditures.</li>

<p ><strong >Essential Functions:</strong></p>

<p >Knowledge of BOP functions, controls, operations and maintenance. &nbsp;· Project management: ability to scope, schedule and deliver multiple projects regarding improvement of BOP reliability. &nbsp;· Ability to analyse, identify problems and recommend solutions (Root Cause Failure Analyses). &nbsp;· Familiar with API standards (API-16A, API-6AR, API-6A, API-16D, API S53, API RP 53, API RP 59) and BSEE requirements related to BOP equipment. &nbsp;· Strong interpersonal skills, written and verbal communication. &nbsp;· Ability to communicate with supervisors. &nbsp;· Strong decision-making, and problem-solving skills. &nbsp;· Ability to work independently with multiple vendors, senior leaders and assets. &nbsp;· Ability to apply Lean methodologies to position. &nbsp;· Moderate Rig Contractor or BOP OEM experience is advantageous. &nbsp;· Substantial Onshore experience preferred. &nbsp;· Knowledge of barrier management. &nbsp;· Working knowledge of process safety relating to reliability, operations, and maintenance. &nbsp;· Experience of work with ERP systems TRACS , Oracle, JD Edwards or similar &nbsp;· Knowledge of documentation packages for pressure control equipment &nbsp;· Working knowledge of Microsoft suit</p>

<p >This position may work in various locations - both in the U.S. and internationally. Some locations may be subject to extreme temperatures, hostile environments, civil unrest, etc. Also, travel to and from work location may require extended layovers in unfamiliar locations. Potential for exposure to temperature changes, wetness, confined spaces, chemicals, grease and oil, working with ladder/scaffolds, working with hands in water, and working alone. Parker Drilling will supply adequate training and equipment to meet the functions of the job.
