Job Overview: We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Corporate Development Manager to join our team. This role will be responsible for supporting key strategic initiatives, including mergers and acquisitions (M&A), financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in finance and accounting, combined with solid analytical skills to drive data-driven decision-making. The Corporate Development Manager will work closely with the CFO and other senior leadership to support business growth, optimize financial performance, and ensure the successful execution of strategic projects. Key Responsibilities:

  • Mergers & Acquisitions (M&A):
    • Support the identification, analysis, and execution of M&A opportunities.
    • Conduct financial modeling, valuation, and due diligence for potential acquisitions or divestitures.
    • Assist in preparing investment cases and presentations for senior management and stakeholders.
  • Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A):
    • Lead budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes.
    • Analyze financial performance and provide actionable insights to improve profitability and operational efficiency.
    • Develop and maintain financial models to support decision-making, scenario analysis, and strategic planning.
  • Data Analysis & Reporting:
    • Utilize data analysis tools (Power BI, Excel, or similar platforms) to monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and track business performance.
    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and interpret data for strategic initiatives.
    • Prepare reports and presentations for senior management, providing insights and recommendations based on data trends.
  • Strategic Initiatives:
    • Support long-term corporate strategy development and execution.
    • Evaluate and analyze new business opportunities, market trends, and competitive landscapes.
    • Collaborate with key stakeholders to drive strategic projects and corporate initiatives.
  • Risk Management & Compliance:
    • Ensure all financial activities comply with regulatory standards, including accounting principles, tax laws, and internal controls.
    • Assist in the preparation of board materials, financial statements, and compliance reports.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field (essential).
  • FMVA (Financial Modeling & Valuation Analyst) certification (required).
  • Experience:
    • 4 to 6 years of relevant experience in corporate development, financial planning and analysis, M&A, or a similar role.
    • Strong background in finance, accounting, and data analysis.
    • Experience working with financial planning tools and data visualization software (e.g., Power BI, Tableau, Excel).
    • Experience in M&A, including financial modeling, valuations, and due diligence processes.
  • Skills & Competencies:
    • Advanced financial modeling and valuation skills.
    • Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
    • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to present complex information clearly to non-financial stakeholders.
    • Ability to manage multiple projects and work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
    • High attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
Preferred:
  • Experience in the tech or event ticketing industry.
  • Knowledge of local tax regulations and accounting standards (specifically IFRS and VAT compliance in Saudi Arabia).
