Posted Friday, January 26, 2024 at 5:00 AMPURPOSE OF ROLE:The Inventory Coordinator is responsible for the inventory management of the warehouse and the function of receiving, inventory processes, and reconciliations.ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:Input all receipts of incoming material from assigned warehouses.Responsible for reconciling the warehouse receipt to all vendor supplied paperwork.Ensure accuracy of Lots, Packaging Codes, Nomenclature, Weight of Material, Supplier, etc.Ensure receipts are entered into the system within the 24 hour guideline.Communicate any damaged material received with the appropriate Product Manager/Coordinator or Logistics Coordinator to resolve or attain disposition of material.Perform title transfer transactions ensuring all documentation is communicated to the material owner(s) when applicable.Analyze the Anticipated Delivery/Overdue Purchase Order reports, resolving any open order issues with the appropriate Product Coordinator.Assist Rail Coordinator with rail receipts and repacks upon request.Assist Bulk Coordinator with scheduling, receipts, transfers, and repacks upon request.Initiate transactions and complete Re-packs, Re-labels, Blends and Transfer, etc., work orders.Analyze work orders for issues.Analyze the Open Pack Out/Open Transfers report to ensure the warehouse has scheduled and completed the work order within the required completion date parameters.Communicate with the originating CSR concerning the completion of work orders and any changes that may have occurred.Ensure accuracy of Lots, Packaging Codes, Nomenclature, Weight of Material, Supplier, Rate Codes, etc.Update Production Schedule upon work order creation/request.Update Rail Inventory upon work order completion.Update all reports for month end reporting.Perform necessary adjustments to close out small pounds or rounding calculations.Process RGA returns and submit approvals to the Corporate Quality Dept.Liaison between Ravago companies and warehouse with regards to inventory.Ensure order accuracy.Ship confirm orders/shipments.Assist warehouse with order and stock corrections.Generate shipping orders/bills of lading.Ensure all ISO documentation is current and adhered to.Other duties as assigned.KNOWLEDGE / QUALIFICATIONS / SKILLS / EXPERIENCE:To perform the job successfully, an individual should demonstrate the following competencies:At least 2 years of applicable experience in a similar role.Two year certificate from college or technical school; or three to six months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.Familiarity with ISO requirements and documentation preferred.Strong attention to detail; able to multi-task in a fast paced environment.Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to write simple correspondence. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization.Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs. Ability to round to the nearest whole number.Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions. Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of Internet software; Inventory software; Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:This job operates in a clerical office setting. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear. This is largely a sedentary role; however, some filing is required.
