Urgent requirement for a Senior Vice President - Asset Management Strategy to based in Qatar for a major financial institution.

Key Responsibilities:

Investment & Portfolio Management:

Advise clients on their investment needs and create customized portfolios across various asset classes.

Review and adjust portfolios regularly to meet client objectives and changing market conditions.

Asset Allocation & Valuation:

Define asset allocation strategies and reallocate investments as needed.

Conduct portfolio valuations as part of the review process.

Training & Team Development:

Train staff on investment products and services to ensure expertise across the bank.

Help prevent mis-selling by ensuring staff understand compliance requirements.

Client Solutions & Business Development:

Support teams in responding to client requests and designing tailored investment solutions.

Identify new business opportunities and help grow client relationships.

Product & Compliance Oversight:

Ensure all investments meet regulatory standards in different regions.

Work with the product team to refine pricing and governance of investment products.

Strategic Leadership & Performance:

Participate in business strategy discussions and contribute to improving product offerings.

Promote cost-efficiency and productivity within the team.

Client Engagement & Leadership:

Serve as the main contact for client-facing teams, helping prioritize and address client needs.

Lead by example, mentoring team members and fostering professional development.

Financial & Market Expertise:

Stay updated on economic trends and how they affect investment strategies.

Provide guidance on complex issues like global taxation and retirement planning.

Education & Experience Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, or related field; Master's or MBA preferred.

CFA Level 3 required; CIM or equivalent preferred.

At least 15 years of experience in investment management.

Strong client relationship skills and a deep understanding of investment products.

Excellent communication, leadership, and business development skills.

Ability to work effectively in diverse, multicultural environments.
