Financial Controller

DP World is looking to recruit a Financial Business Controller for our location in Waalwijk, The Netherlands.
You will be working in a team with a consistent drive for identifying and implementing improvements. You will have interaction with multiple stakeholders in the organization, both locally and globally. About the role
How you will contribute
Participate in the financial month close process.
Prepare account reconciliations and explanations and correction on any variances.
Perform analytical review to ensure correctness of the numbers.
Support in creating insight into OPEX and FTE cost for SG&A supporting functions.
Support in continuous improvements (process/cooperation/system) to develop to world-class finance, keeping up with the growth of DP World.
Contribute to the development of the Internal Control Framework.
Contribute to the statutory reporting process for the legal entities.
What you will bring
Bachelor's degree in Finance or Economics, with basic knowledge on VAT and Tax on wages.
6-10 years relevant working experience in accounting and preferably multinational environment.
Proficient knowledge of MS Office (especially MS Excel and PowerPoint).
Experience in SAP, BPC and Qlik would be advantageous.
Experience with IFRS.
Big 4 experience is a plus.
Fluent in English (and preferably also in Dutch), communicates effectively.
