Applications are invited for the permanent or temporary 3-year post of a Technical Officer (Food Science & Nutrition) within UCD School of Agriculture and Food Science. University College Dublin is seeking to recruit a Technical Officer in the School of Agriculture and Food Science. The appointee will work with staff in the Food Science and Nutrition section who teach a range of food science and nutrition modules to undergraduate and postgraduate students and lead cutting edge research programmes. The successful applicant will manage a range of teaching and research equipment, help in the delivery of practical aspects of teaching programmes and support the ongoing research as required. The primary duties and responsibilities will involve the Food Science and Nutrition Section; however, the post holder may be required to support other technical areas and teams as required. 95 Technical Officer_2013 (7915) Salary Scale: €45,793 - €60,117 Per Annum Appointment will be made on scale and in accordance with the Department of Finance guidelines Closing date: 12:00 noon (local Irish time) on 14th of November 2024.
