Roscommon Salary -€50K - €65K BOE About the Company: A leading Medical Device company based in County Roscommon are currently on the lookout for an experienced Project Engineer to join their ever-expanding team. You will be reporting to the Engineering Manager and you will be responsible for providing manufacturing support and implementing process improvement initiatives and help lead projects across a range of product lines. If you feel you are suited to this role, then dont hesitate to get in touch! Duties Include: Provide manufacturing support over a range of manufacturing processes. Lead process improvement initiatives to reduce cost and to improve manufacturing efficiency by using data analysis. Manage projects and lead new product introduction projects introducing new processes as appropriate. Carry out process and product validations. Implement product, process and material changes through validation, change control and documentation updates. Familiarize yourself with a variety of processes to allow you to work across a number of product lines. Conform to the requirements of the quality and environmental management system. Additional ad hoc duties and projects as assigned. Essential Criteria: Level 8 or Degree Equivalent in Engineering or similar discipline. 3+ years experience within Medical Device Manufacturing. Knowledge and understanding of Medical Device protocols. Experience of AutoCAD and Solidworks Desirable. Strong Six Sigma and Lean knowledge. Excellent communication skills. Excellent knowledge of MS Office. Ability to work in a team environment and on your own. Ability to handle workload and multiple projects.
