Infrastructure Architect - €600 Per Day Irish Government Organisation with responsibility for Healthcare Support requires an Infrastructure Architect to join their team for an upcoming upgrading project. Working alongside a Senior Architect, This role would be particularly suitable for candidates with some experience in Infrastructure/Architecture that are now looking to progress into more Senior roles. The role is located in Dublin North, close to the M50 and attendance onsite is required on average 2 days per week. While initially offered on a 24 Month Contract basis, there is a Hig probability of extension well beyond this date. About the role: The Infrastructure Architect will work closely with senior architecture and engineering managers to maintain the organisation's ICT infrastructure. They will work with a range of stakeholders including ICT colleagues, organisation management, and relevant external parties as required to ensure the robustness of the organisation's ICT infrastructure Essential Candidate Requirements: * Third Level degree in Computer Science, IT or other area relevant to this role * Strong Architecture experience & Certification - Ideally in EA with certification in any of the following: TOGAF, Zachman Framework, Archimate, ITIL, COBIT * Strong working knowledge of Infrastructure technologies particularly those from Microsoft, HP and Cisco. Certifications in these technologies (Especially MSCE/MCSA, Azure Certification) particularly welcome. * Strong knowledge and some experience with cloud focused Infrastructure - Microsoft Azure AWS and/or IBM cloud. * Strong working knowledge of software development and experience managing and/or interacting with teams of software developers. * Ability to carry out financial management/budget tracking tasks for a portfolio of projects. * Good Project management skills, ideally certified to PRINCE2, PMP levels * Good technical understanding of desktop services, network services, and support services, and the ability to bring together components into an overall solution * Excellent documentation and communication skills * Ability to lead discussions with vendors to assess solutions and make decisions Please Note - All applicants must have immediate availability to work in the EU/EEA or be a UK Citizen as our client cannot provide any kind of Visa or Work Permit sponsorship at present.
