Job Title: Electronic Technician Location: Clonmel-Tipperary-Permanent Days Industry: Medical Device Manufacturing Client Company information: World leading multinational medical device client Role Profile CREGG are seeking an experienced Electronic Technician to support the production and testing of electronic medical devices in our Clonmel-based manufacturing plant. Main purpose of the role is performing Failure analysis on the Electronic Medical Devices, the Test Systems and supporting the calibration and validation of these systems. Qualifications Minimum Level 6 qualification with 2 years experience as an Electronic Technician Responsibilities: Perform Failure analysis on electronic and production test systems to get to root cause to component level for implantable medical devices. Work with cross functional groups to improve efficiencys and Production test system efficiencys and reduction in production fallout. Operates, troubleshoots, calibrates, adjusts, and maintains electronic test equipment and systems for use in manufacturing. Performs tests, analyzes data and writes reports and has an ability to work from schematics, engineering drawings, and written or verbal instructions. Performs set-up, testing, repair, inspection, and/or maintenance of all test specific equipment, materials, systems, and/or product on the production floor. Work with quality, manufacturing engineering and operations, providing improvement feedback and assisting with resolution of quality and manufacturing issues.
