Job Description The Reward and Benefits team at An Post is passionate about delivering an exceptional service to our colleagues, by developing innovative rewards strategies and solutions that drive employee satisfaction and organisational success. We are now seeking to recruit a motivated individual to join the team as our Reward and Benefits Manager. Reporting to the Head of HR Operations you will responsible for developing An Posts rewards and benefits strategy including frameworks for compensation, benefits, pension etc.) in collaboration with business leadership and the HR Leadership Team. You will also work with a multitude of stakeholders across the business and will assist Employee Relations in responding to reward related claims from Trade Unions. In addition, you will be a key member of the Oracle HRMS implementation team with responsibility for the initial implementation of the Compensation and Benefits module and ongoing upgrades and releases. Responsibilities The principal responsibilities associated with the role include, but are not limited to the following: Develop An Post's rewards and benefits strategy in collaboration with key stakeholders and the HR Leadership Team (HRLT). Design and implement programmes and frameworks across compensation, benefits, pension, and other components of rewards and benefits strategy. Manage and co-ordinate the implementation of the pay and benefit terms of collective agreements between An Post and Trade Unions representing staff. Ensure the correct interpretation and compliance with applicable legislation, terms and conditions of employment contracts. Ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements. Coach and support HR Business Partners on the implementation of reward, recognition and benefits policies, processes and tools across An Post. Complete job evaluations and recommending pay grades for new or revised roles. Oversee analysis, forecasting, modelling and reporting on Reward data (by Total Rewards Specialist). Build strong rapport with HR Operations teams and HR Business partners, building their capability with rewards and benefits. Develop and maintain positive relationships with union representative and senior leadership on reward and benefit matters. Support Employee Relations in responding to Union claims, representations and third party referrals in relation to pay and allowances. Oversee the maintenance of comprehensive salary and reward data to ensure the provision of timely and accurate information to external Management Consultants and other bodies. through the completion of pay and benefits surveys. Manage the An Post Medical Scheme, including recruitment of Company Doctors, to enable delivery of professional GP care to employees in a cost effective manner. Oversee the implementation of tax efficient benefits such as the Travel to Work and Cycle to Work Schemes. Provide advice and guidance to staff and managers on compensation and benefits issues. Demonstrate An Post Values and behaviours in your day to day work and addressing behaviour that supports/ conflicts with them. Qualifications The ideal candidate will have at least 7 years experience in reward and benefits management, and will demonstrate an excellent understanding of current market compensation and remuneration initiatives. You will ideally hold a third level degree in Human Resource Management or another relevant discipline, along with CIPD qualification or equivalent experience. You are an experienced HR Leader with expertise in reward and benefits programme design and strong knowledge of best practices and trends. Excellent analytical skills and the ability to think strategically and undertake detailed analysis using complex data are also required. The ability to communicate effectively, presenting complex details, concepts and information at the appropriate level relative to the audience is key. You will have the ability to manage multiple contending priorities and be adept at building and maintaining excellent relationships across multiple business functions and with external partners.
