Principal Accountabilities: A self-motivated and driven individual who can independently manage a range of different projects within a region/work area following Project Engineering and HSSE requirements in a fuel station environment. Projects could include new constructions, extensions, asset or equipment changes or replacements and ground works. The works mainly exist of:
- Developing detailed project execution plans with the ability to identify key project requirements.
- Ability to engage and manage the architects, designers and 3rd party contractors and have a detailed knowledge of the project to be able to guide the design.
- Leads and manages Teams & Suppliers performance towards the Retail Contractor HSSE requirements.
- Articulates variation in spend and competent in adjusting forecast.
- Demonstrates that supplier's meet contract requirements and corrective actions are in place.
- Design & documentation standards meet local legislation & adhere to Global Design Standards. Mitigation actions are in place and communicated for standards to be upheld in case of deviation.
- Supervision of all site activities mainly ‘Hold Point’ to ensure that all works comply with contractual requirements.
- Demonstrates cost control is in place and validates invoices for work undertaken.
- Time scheduling is in place for all Projects and variation to plan is managed & corrective actions meet customer requirements.
- Manages project delivery to meet service level agreement and Quality standards.
- Ensure projects meet performance expectations and verifies that Asset data registration is complete.
- Ensure regular reporting in line with contractual and KPI requirements about the progress of the project to suppliers, internal and external customers.
- Manage and co-ordinate the successful completion and handover of the project in line with all pre-requisites.
- Carrying out supplier accreditation in conjunction with HSSE team for all new suppliers and also maintain a re-accreditation system aligned to the contract requirements.
- Manage the Permit to Work (PTW) system, ensuring training is given when required and suppliers are suitably qualified.
- Advise, promote and monitor the safe carrying out of work in the workplace, promoting a ‘talk not tick’ culture for all HSSE related activities.
- Be confident in making decisions based on analysis carried out or provided and to see these decisions through whilst ensuring the best interests of both CBRE and Shell are maintained.
- Verify invoices for work undertaken at service stations to validate the costs incurred are as invoiced.
- Assess the extent of equipment repair or replacement requirements necessary at service stations and make recommendations for the most efficient and economic means of carrying out the required work.
- Carry out quality checks of recently completed maintenance and repair work and repair work to ensure work is carried out properly. Carry out quality checks on work in progress and check all major repair and replacement work to ensure that work is carried out properly.
- Ensure, through the PSC team that asset data is updated on a regular basis.
- Where applicable, will through the Mobile Technician Supervisor (MTS) ensure delivery of the day-to-day activities of the Mobile Technician team.
