Role Description This is a full-time remote role as a POS Integration Support Specialist at MyMenu. The role involves handling day-to-day tasks related to supporting POS integration. Responsibilities: • Manage and support the integration between our software and POS systems, specifically Oracle Simphony, Micros 3700 and other POS for hospitality clients. • Configure, validate, and troubleshoot Simphony Transaction Service API settings, ensuring smooth communication and data flow between systems. • Conduct detailed checks of system logs to identify and resolve integration issues. • Monitor and test configurations, focusing on API calls and responses, to ensure they align with integration specifications and requirements. • Verify POS configurations, settings, and logs to ensure that they are set up correctly for integration and consistent data transactions. • Act as the primary contact for technical inquiries related to POS integration, providing guidance on Simphony Transaction Service API setup and adjustments. • Collaborate closely with the development and support teams to escalate and resolve complex integration issues, providing comprehensive log analysis and configuration details. • Provide training and guidance to clients and stakeholders on maintaining integration quality and best practices. Requirements: • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. • 3-5 years of experience in POS systems, with a focus on Oracle Simphony, Micros 3700, and related API configurations. • In-depth knowledge of Simphony Transaction Service API for configuration, integration, and troubleshooting. • Strong troubleshooting skills, particularly with log analysis, POS configurations, and API transaction monitoring. • Proven experience in POS system integration within the hospitality industry, particularly with hotel and restaurant environments. • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of explaining technical configurations and troubleshooting steps to clients and internal teams. • Proficiency in POS system configuration and understanding of integration dependencies and requirements. Preferred Skills: • Experience with RESTful services and API-based integrations. • Familiarity with SQL and log management tools for troubleshooting configuration and data flow issues. • Certifications related to Oracle Simphony or Micros 3700 are a plus.
