In this role, you will provide nursing and/or midwifery services within the health service to patients/clients on a shift-by-shift basis. You will assess individual patient/client needs, plan, implement and/or coordinate appropriate service delivery from a range of accepted options including other disciplines or agencies.EligibilityApplicants must be registered or eligible for registration as a Nurse/Midwife with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia and who holds, or who is eligible to hold, a current practicing certificate with a demonstrated competence in the relevant area of nursing practice in accordance with the appropriate standards of practice.Important InformationAppointment will be subject to a satisfactory Criminal History Check and appropriate immunisation requirements.Check(s)DHS Working With Children Check (WWCC)DHS National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) Worker CheckNational Police Certificate (NPC) for employment involving unsupervised contact with vulnerable groups required for this position (e.g., aged care employment or work involving vulnerable clients)Immunisation Risk for this position is - Category ASA Health Services are required to implement the Addressing vaccine preventable disease: Occupational assessment, screening and vaccination policy in the workplace.
