Join our new & inclusive Early Childhood team in ChatswoodMultiple Temporary Full-Time roles to 30 June 2025Option of 5 day/week or four day/week rolesWho are we?The NDIS Partners in the Community Program (PITC) supports the National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) to be implemented locally.As an NDIA partner, Northcott will deliver the NDIS Early Childhood Approach (ECA) service to local communities in Northern NSW, Mid North Coast, Hunter New England, North Sydney and Western Sydney. The EC approach supports the activities that will improve the independence and social participation of children aged 0-9 years with developmental delay and/or disability.What does this role look like on a daily basis?You will engage at several points along the journey with a child and their family. Each day will have different and often competing challenges for you to assess and demonstrate knowledge around, including but not limited to:Knowledge of 0-9 developmental milestones and the impact of known & unknown disability on children and their families support networksMeeting Early Intervention Access with the NDIAReceiving and interpreting various reports from allied health professionals and conveying that information to the family in a way that is easily understoodLiaise with community groups, overcome language barriers, respect and be culturally responsive to various community groups across the North Sydney Region.The skills and experience we are looking for include:Minimum Diploma tertiary qualifications in Social Sciences, Early Childhood Education, Allied Health Professions or other relevant professional fieldUnderstanding the importance of implementing a tailored and personalised approach to children and their families - one size does not fit all.Moderate report writing and IT skills, including database management, as you will write reports and provide details to the NDIA on a child's developmental and functional abilities, so proficient use of a computer is essential.Strong communication & interpersonal skillsExperience providing support to families using a family-focused and strengths-based approachDemonstrated experience supporting and implementing evidence-based early childhood intervention strategies with families using a capacity-building approachOther requirements include:Current Driver's Licence - P1 minimumValid Working with Children's Check Clearance - mandatoryValid NDIS Worker Screening Check (NDIS WC) or willingness to obtain - mandatoryWorking Rights in Australia for Full-Time EmploymentFully vaccinated for COVID-19 (including minimum 1 x booster) in accordance with current Northcott Requirements (unless granted an exemption).Induction Training Program - We have a tailored training program to help you understand how we meet targets and see the highest standards.Supportive and experienced Team Leaders and managers - we want to see you succeed!Diverse and Inclusive- Our teams are multi-cultural and make it a point to embrace different cultures and opinions.Benefits we offerA diverse group of people in a great team environment who share knowledge, pursue growth and a desire for excellence.Salary packaging, Perkbox, health and wellbeing benefits and moreGreat leave entitlements & hybrid working environment.The roles will cover the North Sydney region as they involve travel to meet the child and families/carers in their community and home environment, with our office based in Chatswood.To be considered for the role, please provide a cover letter outlining your skills and experience relevant to the role's requirements, in addition to an updated Resume.We will be shortlisting and interviewing during this time, so apply now!Agencies need not send through applications.Covid Vaccination StatusThe health and safety of our people, customers, and communities is our number one priority.
