Our work is much needed, vitally important and life-changing for our clients and their families.Job DescriptionWe are currently looking for experienced Behavior Support Practitioner to join our team in Geelong as a Team Leader. People who have joined our Ready For Action PBS induction and subsequent training have said it is exceeding expectations and is a program to be proud of!As a registered experienced Behaviour Support Practitioner - Team Leader some of your responsibilities will include:Supporting our PBS Clinical Lead and leadership team to ensure high standards of work are delivered in accordance with legislative requirements.Ability to mentor and work collaboratively with members of a multi-disciplinary team.Assisting participants, along with their families and/or carers, to identify needs through a person-centered approach in a community-based setting.Develop and deliver behavior support services in accordance with the NDIS safeguards framework, particularly regarding restrictive practices.Ensuring individual plans reflect our NDIS participants' goals, passions, and strengths, as well as ensuring they get more out of life.QualificationsA minimum of 2 years' experience in development and implementation of positive Behaviour Support.Relevant qualification in allied health or social care and eligibility to register with the relevant membership body.Registration with the NDIS Quality & Safeguarding Commission as a Proficient, Advanced, or Specialist level Behaviour Support Practitioner.Experience delivering services under the NDIS.A passion for being a leader in their field and delivering quality, evidence-based therapeutic interventions.A driver's licence and full access to a vehicle.A national police clearance and working with children check (or the ability to obtain one).Registration with relevant professional body.Experience in providing training and supervision to a team.The benefits on offerAs you support many, we support you.
