Supply Chain Director Join a fast-growing player in the telecoms industry! Our client, founded in 2020 with a turnover of over £200M and manufacturing 10,000+ products, is looking for a Supply Chain Director to lead logistics and purchasing. This is an exciting opportunity to join a dynamic team based in Swindon. Responsibilities: Team management and development to shape and drive a high-performing team of 7 across Logistics and Purchasing. Supplier management and evaluation, monitoring pricing and cost-effectiveness. Finding and selecting new suppliers and negotiating terms and pricing. Developing planning/purchasing strategies to ensure cost savings and supplier performance targets are met. Overseeing logistics, selecting shipping agents/companies, and negotiating pricing. Monitoring quality and performance of service within the department, with the implementation of KPIs. Monitoring pricing and cost-effectiveness. Requirements: Experience of working in the UK Telecom Industry. Excellent written and verbal communication, with a proven ability to build strong working relationships at all levels. Strong legal knowledge for purposes of contract negotiation, rules on import/export of products. Possess strong commercial awareness, business acumen, and drive to negotiate the best possible opportunities. Strong leadership and interpersonal skills. Flexible approach to working to meet changing business priorities. Proficient IT skills, including good knowledge of Microsoft Office, in particular Excel.
