Program Overview Join our courageous and compassionate teams at Qhome residential crisis accommodation services. As a Specialist adult Homelessness and Crisis Accommodation Services, Anglicare NQ provides Temporary Supported Accommodation and supports to Men and Women 18 years and above who are homeless or at risk of homelessness to work towards stability in their living arrangements, provide an environment of inclusion and respect, and work towards addressing specific needs identified by utilising our case management framework for smooth and safe transitioning into community with successful outcomes. The residential crisis accommodation service supports our vulnerable people to meet their immediate personal needs and work towards obtaining stable, long-term accommodation as soon as possible. For this position, you'll need to thrive in a busy, fast-paced environment, have fantastic interpersonal skills and love collaborating with other divisions to create exceptional client experiences. To Be Successful You Will Need
- Proven case management experience using a holistic and client-centered approach to managing your case load.
- Extensive experience working in government-funded programs with strict budgetary and contractual requirements of service.
- Ability to build and maintain relationships with stakeholders, including government bodies, community organisations, and other service providers to provide efficient and effective services to clients.
- Knowledge of organisational programs, policies and operations.
- Industry relevant qualifications or relevant industry experience.
- Experience working with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people, families and communities will be highly regarded.
- Experience working with people from culturally and linguistically diverse (CALD) backgrounds will be highly regarded.
- A current QLD Drivers Licence 'Class C' or interstate equivalent.
- Blue Card (Working with children card)
- A current national police check (within the last 3 months)
- Current First Aid & CPR certificate
