COMPANY Our client is a global manufacturer and supplier of turnkey wastewater purification, filtration, and mud dehydration plants for silt management. In addition to washing and classification solutions, my client also sells mobile & fixed plant crushing equipment; a very unique offering which lends itself toward a fully equipped engineered mineral processing and filtration (dry & wet) solutions. The applications where you would find my client operating in could be any one of the following industry verticals:

Collaborating closely with their international offices and headquarters in Europe, they provide top-tier feasible and cost-effective solutions to clients across the general industrial, mining and quarrying sectors of Australia. OPPORTUNITY Due to growth, our client is seeking a QLD Project Engineer, responsible for the planning, implementation and coordination of all sales & service activities in the state. Based full-time in Eagle Farm, Brisbane, with occasional requirements to travel within QLD and supported by a Project Manager & QLD State Manager, your key responsibilities include:
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders
  • Contribute towards pre-sales activities across all sites and projects.
  • Ensure high-quality performance aligned with client expectations.
  • Contribute to designing, scheduling and auditing mining install base of equipment in QLD
  • Review project designs in AutoCAD and/or SolidWorks (no actual design work required in this role)
  • Evaluate proposals in accordance with mandated Australian Standards
  • Monitor and report on mine planning activities to ensure regulatory compliance.
  • Communicate project designs, schedules, costs, results, and improvements effectively with all stakeholders

CANDIDATE To be considered for this role, it's essential that you possess tertiary qualifications in Mechanical Engineering or Process Engineering. Ideally, you have at least 3 years of relevant work experience in the Mining, Heavy Industrial, Wastewater Industries (or similar). You may be coming from a company that sells capital or consumable equipment to the aforementioned industries.
