We are currently seeking a high calibre professional to join our team as an Assistant Manager, Pricing. Principal Responsibilities
- Advise stakeholders on all aspects of product pricing, profitability and actuarial risk
- Review pricing models with proper and appropriate controls in accordance with Group standards
- Proactively involve and participate in new product development’s workgroup and proactively provide comments and feedback whenever and wherever it is necessary
- Provide advises to Senior Manager/ Head of Individual Life Pricing / Chief Actuary on overseeing and monitoring financial results
- Review and monitor profitability information (eg. VNB, MCVNB, capital demand, CSM and etc) as well as review policyholder’s non-guaranteed benefits (eg. DoD rate, dividend, terminal bonus, crediting rate and etc)
- Conduct annual profitability review, in depth product review/analysis and etc
- University graduate in Actuarial Studies or related discipline
- Preferably be a qualified actuary from a recognized actuarial body such as FSA, FIA, FAA
- Ability to work independently and meet tight deadlines without compromising quality
- Excellent communication skill
- Possess strong problem solving skills for wide range of problems
- Good command of spoken and written English
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, and knowledge of Prophet is preferable
