The Role
The Psychiatrist will be delivering Psychiatric services at the Immigration Detention Centre clinic. Key responsibilities:- Provide Consultant Psychiatrist level mental health assessment and management
- Working with a multidisciplinary team in IHMS sites to provide holistic mental health care
- Work with the Medical Officers to provide supervision, training and oversight of staff working with mental health patients
- Provide recommendations regarding mental health care
- Make recommendations and provide reports

Requirements
- Specialist Psychiatrist qualification in country-of-origin equivalent to Fellow of the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Psychiatrists (RANZCP)
- Current AHPRA Registration
- Minimum 2 years proven experience as a psychiatrist
- Preferably forensic experience
- Full working rights in Australia
