The company is focused on innovative space planning and interior design solutions, with a specialization in furniture manufacturing. Role Description This is a full-time on-site role for an Interior Design Project Manager at ZEN MODULAR SYSTEMS INDIA PRIVATE LIMITED in Coimbatore. The Project Manager will be responsible for overseeing space planning, interior design projects, managing construction drawings, and coordinating furniture installations on-site. Responsibilities
- Preparation of the project schedule for furniture production.
- Review the project plans and specifications and comment on the project design , scheduling , possible cost savings measures.
- Assist estimator in preparation of project budget.
- Prepare the general conditions budget.
- Assist in assembling the job site office and equipment requirements.
- Expedite all shop drawings and approvals.
- Monitor and maintain the project schedule on a weekly basis.
- Raise and discuss relevant issues at the job site meetings. Prepare issue minutes of all site meetings.
- Inform the Consultant / Client of any errors , discrepancies or omissions contained within the Consultants design drawings.
- Expedite all CCN CO (change order)costs. Maintain current CO logs.
- Ensure completion of and track all independent testing and inspections as required.
- Issue monthly progress draws and Invoicing to consultant and client including final hold backs.
- Maintain and enforce good production standards and quality control.
- Control and monitor labor , material and equipment expenses.
- Prepare monthly cost forecasting summaries.
- Prepare and expedite project deficiency lists.
- Ensuring accuracy coverage of pre - project estimation - costing w.r.t checklist , negotiation feedback SM feedback.
- Ensuring profitability thru' Rate Analysis.
- Considering materials and costs according to set budgets and negotiating project fees
- Space Planning and Interior Design skills
- Knowledge in BOQ , Billing , Reconciliation , Estimating quantities for interior scope of works.
- Project Management expertise
- Experience in creating Construction Drawings
- Familiarity with Furniture design and installations
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet project deadlines
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
- Bachelor's degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or related field
