Job Overview:

The Senior Account Executive / Account Executive will manage the company's day-to-day financial operations, including handling the full set of accounts—accounts payable, accounts receivable, fixed assets, and general ledger. This role involves ensuring timely financial analysis, monthly closing, and management reporting, as well as managing cash flow and transaction entries. The candidate will verify invoices, manage month-end and year-end closing procedures, and prepare bank reconciliations, audit schedules, and tax schedules. The position also supports the Finance HOD with ad-hoc tasks.

Roles & Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for managing the day-to-day financial operations of the company.
  • Able to handle the full set of accounts including accounts payable, accounts receivable, fixed assets, and general ledger accurately in a timely manner with minimal supervision.
  • Perform financial analysis and ensure timely and proper monthly closing and management reporting.
  • Cash flow management, planning, and control.
  • Handling transaction entry into the accounting system.
  • Verify all AP and AR invoices posting, petty cash reimbursement, staff expenses claims, and payment transactions.
  • Manage month-end and year-end closing procedures to ensure completeness and accuracy of financial reports.
  • Maintain up-to-date fixed asset listing and balance sheet schedule.
  • Provide support on month-end and year-end closing for accuracy, completeness, and timeliness.
  • Prepare month-end bank reconciliation.
  • Prepare audit schedules and tax schedules.
  • Filing of documents.
  • Assist Finance HOD in any other ad-hoc tasks.

Requirements:

  • Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor’s Degree in finance or a related field.
  • Minimum 3 years of working experience in related finance and accounting reporting.
  • Candidates with audit experience will be an added advantage.
  • Able to handle full set accounts.
  • Detail-oriented and organized with a high level of accuracy.
  • Committed to work with a great sense of responsibility & integrity.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office, especially Microsoft Excel.
  • Knowledge of accounting software will be an added advantage.
