Responsibilities of the job include:- Support the finance team in various financial activities such as financial reporting, financial analysis and compliance.
- Managing the Group's general accounting function, including but not limited to processing invoices and receipts, reconciling accounts, ensuring timely collection of receivables, journal posting, etc.
- Perform monthly closing activities within the stipulated timeline, ensuring the accuracy and timeliness of financial reporting.
- Prepare actual & forecast cash flow reports and manage the cash flow of the Group.
- Oversee the account payable function of the Group.
- Assist in the preparation of documentation for audits, tax filings and annual financial statements.
- Conduct basic financial analysis by collecting, analysing, and summarising account information and trends.
- Prepare account reconciliation for business operations on a monthly basis.
- Provide administrative support to the finance team.
- Other duties and ad-hoc projects as assigned.
- Degree in Accounting/ Professional Qualification.
- IT savvy - proficiency in Google Sheets, Microsoft Excel & Word with the ability to work with Lookups, Pivot Tables and graphs.
- Have analytical and problem-solving skills with good understanding of accounting standards and tax rulings.
- Self-motivated, team player, dynamic with a mature personality and able to work under minimum supervision.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and cope with changes.
