Join us.Job DescriptionRole DescriptionThis is a full-time on-site role for a Senior Planning Manager located in Sharma. The Senior Planning Manager will oversee and manage the day-to-day planning activities of complex projects. Responsibilities include:Coordinating with project teamsDeveloping strategic plansMonitoring project progressConducting risk assessmentsEnsuring compliance with project schedules and budgetsProviding guidance and support to junior plannersCollaborating with stakeholders to optimize project deliveryQualificationsProven experience in project planning, scheduling, and coordinationProficiency in using project management software, particularly Primavera P6 and Power BIStrong analytical and problem-solving skillsExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsAbility to work effectively in a team and independentlyExperience in the infrastructure or construction industryBachelor's degree in Engineering, Architecture, Urban Planning, or related fieldProject Management Professional (PMP) certification is a plusAdditional InformationKnowledge of planning and scheduling concepts and principles, including effects on financial performanceFamiliarity with data sources and basic schedule developmentAbility to support schedule analysis, identify and investigate schedule variancesExperience in collecting and updating data and producing scheduling reportsAssisting in the development and maintenance of Work Breakdown Structure (WBS) and implementing applicable codingSupporting schedule progress measurement and gathering data for updatesFamiliarity with construction drawings, specifications, and contracting methodsUnderstanding of Critical Path Method (CPM) scheduling concepts and principles for basic engineering, procurement, and construction logicKnowledge of scope control, change management, and earned value methodologyExperience in supporting monthly report preparationParticipation in planning and scheduling meetings to address issuesExposure to basic scheduling and cost baseline fundamentals, concepts, and principlesAbout AECOMAECOM is the world's trusted infrastructure consulting firm, delivering professional services throughout the project lifecycle - from advisory, planning, design and engineering to program and construction management.
