JOB SUMMARY: Lantic is currently recruiting for the position of Team Leader, Maintenance, based at our Montreal plant. The position reports to the Maintenance Manager. The Team Leader, Maintenance is responsible for maintenance staff, production equipment and the building's structure with a focus on accountability, reliability, efficiency and waste reduction through best maintenance practices. RESPONSIBILITIES: Provide supervisory support for the maintenance of overall plant and support equipment including the offsite piling ground equipment; Provide support for ongoing implementation and optimization of maintenance best practices, inventory parts, standard inspection programs and predictive maintenance programs; Provide support in the development of annual maintenance budget and support in meeting specific equipment reliability targets while operating within budget; Work with the supervisory team to improve plant operations including safety, quality, cost, efficiency and waste management; Provide support for continuous reduction of overall plant downtime using available resources; Ensure Health & Safety and proper environmental practices are followed within the department; Responsible for ensuring the scheduling and supervision of major equipment repairs, overhauls and rebuilding to ensure that it is fully operational and safe to operate and within scheduled requirements. QUALIFICATIONS AND PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE REQUIRED: Professional certification in mechanics, electrical, plumbing or related field; Minimum of five (5) to seven (7) years of experience in maintenance management/supervision in a production facility, preferably food; Experience with structured CMMS system, preferred; Knowledge of continuous improvement and lean manufacturing processes (an asset); Decision-making skills, excellent leadership, interpersonal, organizational, motivational and communication skills; Good knowledge of Maximo, Navision, SharePoint and MS Office programs; High level of integrity and ability to manage confidential information; Ability to act as a coach/mentor and take a hands-on approach to leading/motivating a team; Good management of stress and competing priorities WORKING CONDITIONS (OFFICE/PLANT, TRAVELING, ON CALL, ETC):
