This global international law firm in Dublin 2, is seeking a Financial Accountant (13-month fixed term contract) to join their team in Dublin. This role is an exciting opportunity for a qualified accountant to contribute to the financial functions within a dynamic and growing business environment. Reporting to the Finance Manager: Key Responsibilities Assistance with the production of annual budgets and quarterly re-forecasts. Supporting local teams in cost control and accurate accounting of costs. Working with local management and central credit control for debt management. Production and analysis of commercial data for trend management. Maintaining local accounting records, processing transactions, and journals. Assisting with the production of statutory accounts and liaising with external relationships. Liaising with central accounting teams and the Global Services Centre in Poland. Key Skills and Requirements Qualifications: Qualified Accountant (CIMA / ACCA / ACA or equivalent) Experience: Professional services experience is an advantage. Technical Skills: Advanced knowledge of Excel and dashboard creation. Experience of SAP ERP platform desirable. Knowledge: Strong knowledge of International Financial Reporting Standards and local accounting rules. Communication Skills: Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, and fluency in English. Personal Attributes: Self-starter, able to work on own initiative and as part of a team. Adaptability: Comfortable multi-tasking and working in a fast-paced environment.
