You’ll use your knack for digging up market insights and your flair for storytelling to show the world why Fable is the right partner for large enterprise organizations looking to shift accessibility left. Reporting directly to our VP of Marketing, you’ll dive deep into understanding who our ideal customers are, the problems they are trying to solve, and how we can stand out from the competition.  In this role, you’ll be the glue that brings together our product, marketing, sales, and customer success teams. You’ll help shape our go-to-market strategy, spot new opportunities, and guide the direction of our product roadmap. We’re looking for someone who can balance strategic thinking with hands-on execution to help us hit our ambitious growth targets.  We are a remote-first company. For this role, we are open to applicants who are located in Canada, willing to work close to EST hours - East Coast based and EST hours preferred.   • Drive Go-to-Market Excellence: Build and maintain strong relationships with product, sales, customer experience, and marketing teams to ensure cross-functional alignment that supports an efficient and effective go-to-market strategy, accelerating both customer acquisition and retention.
  • Lead Market Research and Analysis: Conduct in-depth market, customer, and competitor research to uncover new opportunities and generate buyer insights that inform strategic decisions. Use these insights to evolve Fable's brand vision and establish us as the category leader in digital accessibility.
  • Develop Compelling Messaging and Positioning: Craft and refine our brand narrative and differentiated market positioning, ensuring all teams are aligned on the problems we solve, who we solve them for, and the unique value we deliver. Lead efforts to translate this into compelling content that resonates across all stages of the buyer journey.
  • Plan and Execute Product Launches: Oversee the development and execution of comprehensive product launch plans, coordinating cross-functional teams to introduce new innovations effectively and ensure all customer-facing teams can speak confidently and convincingly about our offerings.
  • Enhance Customer Lifecycle Management: Partner closely with customer success and marketing teams to define the customer journey and develop impactful programs that support customers at each stage, maximizing retention and growth opportunities.
  • Measure and Communicate Impact: Establish clear success metrics for product marketing initiatives and regularly report on progress and impact to executive leadership, aligning efforts with overall business objectives and growth targets.
Key qualifications and assets
  • A minimum of 8 years experience in B2B SaaS, with at least 5-7 of those years in a Product Marketing role
  • Experience in a small Marketing team, operating as the sole Product Marketer, with the experience to lead a team in the future
  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field (or highly equivalent professional experience) 
  • Experience in a Senior Product Marketing role previously 
  • Proven track record as a PMM leader with examples of go-to-market strategies and product marketing work you’ve delivered in previous roles
  • Highly collaborative team player with a knack for building cross-functional relationships and alignment across teams
  • Strong storytelling skills that show up in clear, compelling written and verbal communications—internally and externally
  • Expert listening and research skills that enable you to distill complex insights into actionable takeaways
  • Customer-centric mindset that ensures the voice of our customers is championed across the organization
  • Highly autonomous, flexible working style that thrives in a fast-paced startup environment that’s always evolving
  • Expert prioritization skills that keep you and your team focused on highest-impact work

  • Able to work within bounds of North American time zones, Eastern Time preferred.
